Hello everyone, this is Laure live from Luz' for the recap of Raw from November 4, 2024 !

Crown Jewel is over, but wait, we’re still in Riyadh for this episode! And to transition from the end of Crown Jewel, what better way than to have one of the event's champions celebrate their victory?

Liv Morgan makes her entrance to the ring, accompanied by Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio—classic! The champion, who managed to beat Nia Jax over the weekend, is going to flaunt her victory in front of the Saudi Arabian crowd: “Bow down and cheer for me, I’m the Crown Jewel champion!” She recaps her recent accomplishments: she defeated Tiffany Straton, Rhea Ripley, and is now the Crown Jewel champion. She declares that the Liv Morgan Revenge Tour is over, and now the Liv Morgan World Tour begins!

Dominik tries to speak but, one, he gets booed by the crowd because no one wants to listen to him, and two, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair make their entrance. Oh, really?

Liv Morgan tries to shut down the champions when they get on the ring: “We’re in the middle of a celebration, and you interrupt us? Not cool.” Belair and Cargill remind everyone that they also left Crown Jewel as champions, so if Liv and Rodriguez want a match, it’s now. Morgan asks, “Why are you so mad if you won on Saturday?” The champion asks if it’s because Belair thinks she’s the strongest, the fastest, in short, the best? Too bad Cargill thinks exactly the same about herself.

For Morgan, the only thing that links Cargill and Belair is their titles, while she has a real friendship with Rodriguez. Things start to heat up, and the tag champions suggest settling it in a match now, but Adam Pearce interrupts: “Ladies, we’re not doing this now!” However, Morgan can’t resist planting a seed of doubt in the champions' heads with “watch out, she’s gonna betray you,” but Belair responds with a punch.

Pearce steps in to separate them before things get worse and tells Liv Morgan the truth: “What you did to Ripley was disgusting, and you won’t avoid a title defense, sweetheart!” He announces that there will be a Battle Royal for the #1 contender spot for the title, with the tag champions getting their chance, and it’s happening RIGHT NOW!

So, the Battle Royal kicks off, and wait a minute! Is Lyra Valkyria here? Darling, you’re back, what a pleasure! And she’s going to last a long time too! She, Iyo Sky, and the tag champions will be among the last. Belair and Cargill face off before attempting to eliminate Valkyria. But hey, it’s a Battle Royal, so no disqualification, and Morgan and Rodriguez pull both champions out of the ring, causing them to get eliminated!

Too bad, ladies, the final will be without you, and it will be between Iyo Sky on one side and Lyra Valkyria on the other! We reach that famous moment where the two women are at the edge of the ring, each one about to fall out of ringside, so things are tense! Iyo Sky hits a German Suplex on Valkyria, who falls, giving the victory to the Damage CTRL member.

So, we’ll have a match between Morgan and Sky for the title!

We move backstage for an interview with the New Day, talking about their recent loss in the match to become #1 contenders for the tag team titles. On one side, Woods claims they should’ve won and that Chad Gable interfered with their business. On the other side, Kingston replies that he doesn’t think Gable was the problem in their loss. So, they start arguing a bit, each wanting to be right, but their little dispute is interrupted by a video from the Wyatt Six.

We see Miz tied to a chair in a dark room. Miz tries to defend himself, claiming he’s not with the Final Testament and that there’s been a misunderstanding. Bo Dallas appears in the frame and laughs in his ear. He whispers that they didn’t want the Final Testament—they wanted him. He then walks away, saying cryptic things worthy of a mysterious episode of *Findings by Feldup*.

Next, we get the match between the New Day and the War Raiders, who have agreed to face them again. Will they manage to win despite their little quarrel? Well, not really, as you might guess! At the end of the match, Woods forces a tag with Kingston, who is confused because he was about to apply a move. This distracts the team, and they get overwhelmed by the War Raiders with their War Machine finisher. Another victory for the War Raiders and another conflict brewing for the New Day!

Now, we get to the Bloodline segment: Sami Zayn enters the ring, speaks Arabic to the crowd, and shares how happy he is to be presenting himself in front of his people and speaking his language on a WWE show. But he’s here to talk about something serious: what happened at Crown Jewel.

Zayn won’t get much further, though, as Jey Uso joins him in the ring. He thanks him for Saturday before speaking up. Still, after seeing the footage from the show, he needs Zayn to tell him the truth: was that shot on Roman an accident?

Apparently, no one wants to hear about Sami, as Jimmy Uso enters next to give his take on the situation: “Jey, you’re crazy, we saw the footage, he took down the OTC, and now he’s mad, just like I’m mad, and like you should be mad! We can’t trust Zayn…”

This sends Sami into a spin, and he stops him right away: he finds it unfair to talk about trust when you know what Jimmy did. He brought Zayn into the Bloodline, and when things went wrong, he hit him. Same with Jey—he turned on him. Jimmy replies that he’s not the bad guy in this story (seriously, what’s with that comeback?).

Zayn counters that he doesn’t hate Jimmy, and he doesn’t think he’s the bad guy either, but Jimmy just keeps making bad choices. On Saturday, he came to help Jey, but he admits that when they were all together, allies, it felt good for a minute. But that minute was over once his loyalty was questioned again. It won’t happen again, there won’t be another tribunal for him, so he apologizes to Jey, but he’s out of the situation.

As Zayn leaves the ring, Jey stops him: he asks Sami to make an effort and come to Smackdown this weekend so they can talk together, as a family. Jimmy interrupts the conversation, supporting the idea that Sami isn’t part of the family (but seriously, Jimmy, shut up!). Jey continues: "I was wrong, of course, Zayn is family, even though we don’t share the same blood, I only see a Jey Uso, a Jimmy Uso, and a Sami Uso!"

And at that moment, Sami is so touched by all the love from his bro!

We move backstage where Jackie Redmond is with Seth Rollins. He’s in the Fatal 4-Way match to become the number one contender for Gunther’s title, and she asks for his thoughts: "I didn’t win this opportunity just because I beat Bronson Reed on Saturday, but because of my twenty years of career." Rollins respects his match with Reed and is sure they will face off again in the future, but for now, he’s got his eyes set on gold.

Next, we have a match between Dragon Lee and Chad Gable. Gable cost LWO an opportunity at the tag team titles, so tonight they have things to settle. Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega will accompany their respective teammates, so you know what’s going to happen! Gable will try to pin Lee by putting his feet on the ropes. Vega knocks his feet off the ropes to prevent him from cheating, and then Nile locks Vega in a Sleeper hold.

Rey Mysterio arrives to help Vega. While checking on her, Gable tries to attack Mysterio, completely disconnecting from his match. He clearly shouldn’t have done that, as Dragon Lee takes advantage, hitting his Operation Dragon for the win. That’s a good win for LWO!

In an interview, Jackie asks Gunther for his thoughts on his loss at Crown Jewel. Ludwig Kaiser immediately jumps in, asking, "Why are you asking stupid questions about Cody Rhodes, who doesn’t deserve to...?"

Gunther cuts him off calmly: he doesn’t think he and Rhodes are on the same page, but he admits that on Saturday night, Rhodes was the better man. Jackie follows up by asking about potential challengers for his title. Gunther considers Rollins, Sheamus, and Priest as real threats, but not Dominik Mysterio (tough luck for him). He goes on about each one, stopping at Sheamus and mentioning that Kaiser was supposed to take care of him. Gunther says he’ll take responsibility after Crown Jewel, and Kaiser should do the same. Ooh, a little passive-aggressive tension there that hints at a developing story between them!

And now, it’s time for the main event: the Fatal 4-Way match to become the #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The match takes a turn when Bronson Reed shows up ringside (let’s go!): he sends Damian Priest and Sheamus flying under the watchful eye of Seth Rollins. Reed then goes after Rollins but neutralizes him.

Back in the ring, Reed is attacked by Priest and Sheamus but easily takes control, hitting a Tsunami on each of them. He then heads back to ringside, where he puts Rollins on the announcer’s table, climbs the barricade, and hits a Tsunami through the table.

Now that Reed has caused chaos, he exits through the crowd. Dominik Mysterio, who was hiding and watching, sees an opportunity and takes control: he hits a Frog Splash on Sheamus and goes for the pin, but Priest breaks it up. Mysterio then attempts a 619 on Priest, landing it perfectly. He tries to follow up with a corner dive, but Priest catches him by the throat and delivers a Chokeslam. Priest secures his opportunity for Gunther’s title.

Speaking of the champion, Gunther comes to the ring for a faceoff with his new challenger. Will Priest manage to reclaim his El Campeon title?
