Hey everyone, it's Laure here live from Luz’ with the recap of Impact from November 21, 2024 !

Today, we’re here for a slightly special episode of Impact since it’s Thanksgiving, and for the occasion, TNA has prepared a selection of seven matches that took place throughout 2024 but have never been broadcast before. As you can imagine, there won’t be much storyline tonight—we’re saving that for Turning Point and the upcoming episodes!
We kick off the evening with a 6-Man Tag Team Match, featuring The System on one side and Joe Hendry teaming up with PCO and Sami Callihan on the other. Of course, we know how The System operates—they’ll cheat at every opportunity—but they still won’t be able to withstand Joe Hendry’s Standing Ovation, which will put Eddie Edwards down for the count.
Next, we got a match between Dani Luna and Jordynne Grace, with Jody Threat providing commentary for the occasion.
At that time (June), Grace was the TNA Champion, and while her opponent was one half of the tag team champions, unfortunately for Luna, Grace ended the match with her Juggernaut Driver, pinning Luna for the three-count. It was an expected victory for the reigning champion, and though the match was enjoyable, its outcome was pretty predictable.
The only bit of storyline we get tonight happens backstage: PCO, Sami Callihan, The Good Hands, and Xia Brookside are playing poker. PCO wins the round, but The Good Hands aren’t happy, accusing him of cheating. Callihan tries to defend him, claiming PCO would never cheat, but it turns out, he totally did! Things escalate to the point where Santino Marella steps in to mediate, setting up a match for next week to settle the matter.
Meanwhile, Brookside complains about not having a match herself, and John Skyler mocks her, which earns him a cream pie to the face.

Alright, back to the matches with a Triple Threat match featuring Leon Slater, Mustafa Ali, and Trent Seven. Slater immediately jumps on Ali as the guy is calmly making his entrance—okay then! The match itself is very entertaining (with participants like these, it’s hard to go wrong!). It ends with Slater taking out Seven with a Swanton 450, but Ali throws Slater to ringside to steal the pin—and, most importantly, the victory!
Next up is a match between Mike Bailey and Jake Something, who is accompanied by his buddy Hammerstone. No surprises here: we’ve got a classic villainous duo against an overly lovable babyface, so of course, Hammerstone has fun interfering. Bailey, who’s about to finish things from the top rope, is shoved off by Hammerstone, saving Jake Something from a move that could’ve spelled disaster for him. Bailey doesn’t give up, but he’s taken down by a Clothesline from Jake, who covers him for the three-count.
Then we have a match with First Class (oh no, not them again) against Joe Hendry (yep, him again), this time teaming up with Rhino. Unsurprisingly, First Class doesn’t stay on top for long; after eating Rhino’s Gore and Hendry’s Standing Ovation, they don’t get back up, leaving the victory to Rhino and Hendry.
We arrive at the second-to-last match of the evening: a Casket Match between PCO (you again?) and Moose. With a stipulation that allows outside interference and Moose being part of The System, of course the former TNA champion doesn’t show up alone. So the first part of the match is a 3-on-1 beatdown of PCO. But who comes to PCO’s aid? Here’s a hint: we’ve already seen him twice tonight.
That’s right—Joe Hendry makes his entrance, coming to PCO’s rescue and leveling the playing field. And so begins a flurry of Standing Ovations, Chokeslams, and PCO Saults that ultimately lead to PCO tossing Moose into the casket and closing it for good, securing the win.
Finally, we get to the main event of the evening: Nic Nemeth versus Sami Callihan (yep, seeing the same faces over and over!). It’s an enjoyable match but, like Jordynne Grace’s earlier bout, doesn’t leave much suspense in its conclusion. Nemeth, being the TNA Champion at the time, predictably closes things out with a combination of Superkick and Danger Zone to take the victory.
And thus concludes this episode, leaving me eager to get back to the current storylines as soon as possible!

It was Laure for the Impact recap!
