Hey everyone, it's Laure here live from Luz’ with the recap of Impact from November 7, 2024 !

We dive right into the action tonight with a Tag-Team match between Tasha Steelz & Alisha Edwards on one side and Jordynne Grace & Masha Slamovich on the other. Let’s just say, I had a pretty good idea of the outcome even before the match started!

Edwards arrives wearing a neck brace (I think she missed the memo that she’s in a wrestling match) and keeps pretending to be in pain every time she loses control. As a result, she tags in her friend Steelz, who ends up doing most of the work alone. Talk about a friend, huh?

Steelz does what she can, even landing a gorgeous Crucifix Bomb (props to her!), but it’s not enough. Edwards gets caught in a sleeper hold by Slamovich and taps out immediately. At least she was useful... for a minute!

In the backstage area, Savannah Evans is interviewed about her return and her attack on Lee last week. She explains that she spent months at home watching these other women be treated as TNA's big stars, but in reality, she’s the real threat. She’s done waiting for opportunities; she’s now going to take them.

Next up, we have a no-disqualification match, a chance to settle the score between Wendy Choo and Rosemary, who, as a reminder, failed to win the titles at Bound for Glory. For a no-disqualification match, I was expecting more violence, honestly. Sure, they strangled each other with cables and bit each other in unconventional ways, but it felt a bit tame. Anyway, Rosemary finishes it with her As Above So Below move and pins Choo for the three-count. I think it’s safe to say their feud is over!

Now, we see a replay of a match from a few months ago between Mustafa Ali (then X-Division Champion) and Mike Santana. The match turns into a tag-team brawl with Joe Hendry and Ali’s friend, and the post-match chaos escalates with Frankie Kazarian and Rhyno getting involved. Honestly, I’m a bit confused—did they just not have enough content this week and decided to show an old match? Whatever, I’ll accept it!

Back to the present, Steve Maclin is backstage claiming that Josh Alexander is a coward, revealing his true colors once he no longer has his friends to back him up. He reminds us that he didn’t technically beat Alexander at Bound for Glory (not really), and insists their rivalry is far from over.

Next, The Rascalz give a short promo, expressing their disappointment over losing their last match but emphasizing they’re ready to bounce back after their issues with Wes Lee, no matter how long it takes.

We then see a video of Ryan Nemeth, upset about Joe Hendry attacking his brother last week (clearly, the guy still doesn’t get that it was an accident). Nic Nemeth, however, is more measured, calling it a mistake on Hendry’s part. Hendry arrives, and things get chaotic as they argue, requiring officials to step in and separate them.

Once the video ends, Joe Hendry makes his entrance. Unfortunately, we won’t get to sing because the Scotsman quickly cuts the music to speak. He says it’s time to talk about Ryan Nemeth. Hendry reveals that he did some research on Nemeth’s career, found some interesting stuff, and decided to put it into a song to recap all of Nemeth’s "many successes."

The video starts, and we hear Hendry’s voice in the background singing, "He’s Nic Nemeth’s brother, and that’s it." And just like that, the video was quite short!

Hendry continues by saying he’s disappointed because he would have liked it to be longer, but to make it right, he proposes adding a new chapter to Ryan Nemeth's career: next week, he and Ryan Nemeth will face off.

Backstage, we find Mike Santana with his little suitcase. He bumps into First Class, who calls him out (oh, this is going to be annoying…). AJ Francis starts buttering him up, telling him he respects him, that he saw his match against Moose and that he was strong, but having friends pays off! Would Santana like to travel in first class? Well, let me tell you, there’s no way Santana is joining your lame crew!

It seems Mike agrees with me, as he responds that he came here with his own mission and had to face The System alone. Why would he need guys like them?

With that, Mike Santana leaves like the king he is, and AJ Francis turns to his buddy KC Navarro, clearly letting him know that next week, he’ll have to deal with him.

Next up is a match between Heather by Elegance (formerly Heather Reckless), who will obviously come with Ash by Elegance and the Personal Concierge, and Jody Threat, who will be accompanied by her partner Dani Luna. Well, little Heather has figured out that to have a chance at winning, she has to be sneaky, so she immediately attacks Jody while she’s still entering the ring, and Ash takes a cheap shot at the champion behind the referee’s back.

But honestly, did you really think that would save her?

Nope! Jody Threat takes Heather and smashes her with a Pop Shove It to secure the win. Yeah, it’s going to take a lot more cheating if you want a chance against a tag team champion!

Now we move to the main event: the X-Division Championship match between Mike Bailey and Moose. The match was pretty intense, I won’t lie, as both were on fire! Moose smashes his hand into the post twice outside the ring (which is actually pretty funny), while Bailey accidentally hurts his foot by kicking the stairs (and Moose is sure to take advantage!).

By the end of the match, I’m thinking it’s over, Bailey’s got this, he’s hit all his signature moves, even delivering a Poisonrana from the top rope, and yet Moose manages to power out! At this point, I’m getting worried, and sure enough, Moose lands a Spear in the ring, a second on the outside, and then back into the ring where I feel like it’s the end.

Moose goes for a third Spear, but Bailey turns it into a pin attempt that Moose escapes. Then, as Bailey tries to regain momentum by jumping off the ropes, Moose nails a mid-air Spear that completely flattens him. He follows up with one last Spear, pins him, and that’s it! We have a new X-Division Champion!

Honestly, it was deserved because the guy was incredibly resilient! Moose exits the ring and crosses paths with Trent Seven, who’s heading to join his buddy. Seven hugs him, raises his hand to get the crowd cheering, and just as we all cheer, Seven delivers a Low Blow to Bailey!

Oh, of course! Mr. Seven is salty for not succeeding like his buddy, so he betrays him! And he doesn’t do things halfway—Seven strangles him with a towel, finishes him off with his Seven Star Lariat, and throws him out of the ring!

Poor Mike Bailey, he lost everything tonight!

It was Laure for the Impact recap!
