Hi everyone, it's Laure live from Luz' for the recap of Dynamite from November 6, 2024 !

The show opened with Tony Schiavone introducing the Hurt Syndicate—a faction with MVP, Shelton Benjamin, and now Bobby Lashley. The three entered the ring, and MVP quickly took the microphone to dismiss poor Schiavone: "Thanks for the intro, but I’ll do it myself, so move aside."
Once Tony left the ring, MVP asked for the crowd's attention, saying he had an official announcement from the Hurt Syndicate. He introduced himself along with two wrestlers with numerous accolades, Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley. Their goal, he said, is simple: to elevate talent to their highest potential. It’s easy to understand, he continued—if you receive a Hurt Syndicate card, you've got a one-way ticket to success. But if you refuse, there’s only one possible outcome.
A replay of last week's Dynamite showed Swerve Strickland being ambushed by Benjamin and Lashley. For MVP, Strickland chose to make them his enemies, and—
Just then, Swerve Strickland’s music hit, and he appeared with a metal chain, held back by a group of referees. Near the entrance ramp, he grabbed the microphone and said only four words: “Bobby Lashley... Full Gear.” Really, Swerve? Can’t speak in full sentences anymore?
MVP responded to the challenge, assuring Strickland they would meet at Full Gear.
With that, we moved to our opening match—a tag team match with Pac and Claudio Castagnoli (accompanied by Wheeler Yuta) on one side and Orange Cassidy and… well, we’re not quite sure! Cassidy entered but stayed by the ramp, challenging his opponents to come closer. Pac and Castagnoli didn’t hesitate, and as they reached the entry tubes, a wild Darby Allin leapt from the set to take them down. Nice entrance!
Of course, the brawl moved toward the ring so the match could officially start. I wondered how long it would be before Yuta intervened—and sure enough, he eventually did, though it wasn’t too effective since he took an Orange Punch right to the face! Just as Allin and Cassidy were gaining the upper hand, Marina Shafir appeared and took down the referee.
Cassidy looked at her, baffled, and Jon Moxley seized the moment to grab him from behind.
Allin tried to help but was overpowered. Then, the Conglomeration arrived, sending the Death Riders (who, by the way, have a new name) fleeing the ring. Before the Conglomeration’s match, we went backstage for an interview with Ricochet, who kept quiet about his mystery partner for the evening. The Hurt Syndicate appeared, surrounding Ricochet in an awkward silence, before finally wishing him good luck. Honestly, if I were him, I’d stay on my guard!
Back to the ring for the Conglomeration (Kyle O'Reilly, Mark Briscoe, and Tomohiro Ishii) against the Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith) in a no-disqualification match, so expect lots of violence! Jericho immediately went through a table, Briscoe was slammed onto a ladder—pure carnage!
O'Reilly and Bill fought backstage and eventually made their way back through the crowd. O'Reilly ended up putting Bill in a guillotine from a stack of crates, and they both crashed through tables set below. I doubt we’ll be seeing them again for the rest of the match!
Back in the ring, things were chaotic as expected! Briscoe hit Jericho with a Jay Driller, set him up on a table, and climbed a ladder to hit an elbow drop and go for the pin. Unfortunately, Keith broke it up, bringing Ishii back into the fight. He delivered a Brainbuster on Jericho and got the three-count. Victory went to the Conglomeration, who, hopefully, have settled things with Jericho!
Backstage, we saw the Death Riders, with Jon Moxley sending a message to Orange Cassidy: Yuta doesn’t owe you anything; he’s not your friend or your protégé. He’s now a soldier under my command. It's been a month that Moxley's been talking about "building something," but what that is still isn’t clear. Maybe he could be a bit more explicit next time!
Next up, our ongoing "Race to MJF at Full Gear" saga continues, with Adam Cole facing Malakai Black. Black, to his credit, signaled right from the start that he wasn’t going to target Cole’s injured ankle; he wanted a clean win. Despite this, Cole’s resilience left Black visibly frustrated.

At the end of the match, Black sat cross-legged, exhausted, and invited Cole to hit him. Cole bounced off the ropes to deliver his Boom finisher and ended the match with a three-count pin. The two men then hugged in a show of respect—seriously, it was adorable!
After the match, Cole grabbed the microphone. He first thanked Black for the match, calling him one of the toughest opponents he's ever faced. Then, he addressed MJF, saying he’s only one victory away from getting his hands on Max at Full Gear. He and Roderick Strong are determined to secure those three wins, and Tony Khan promised that if they succeed, the match at Full Gear will be a Triple Threat with MJF, Cole, and Strong!
The camera then cut to MJF watching from home, clearly not thrilled. If this becomes a Triple Threat match, let’s just say things won’t look good for Max since it would basically be a 1 vs. 2 situation! In response, MJF picked up his phone and called someone, saying he needed them to “visit someone.”
Oh, and by the way, I didn’t mention it yet, but the Undisputed Kingdom’s resident stalker—Kyle O'Reilly—was, of course, watching the entire match from the medical room! Someday, we’ll need to have a chat about this obsession, Kyle…
Next up, we had an interview with Jay White, which was immediately interrupted by an attack from Adam Page. The two brawled into the crowd, with Page attempting to injure White’s leg by pinning it against a barricade. Just as he was about to strike, Juice Robinson appeared to help his friend. White and Robinson then turned their attention to Page, who realized he was outmatched and made a quick exit.
As Page retreated into the crowd, White grabbed a microphone to taunt him: “Dude, why are you running away?” He asked what Page planned to do to him at Full Gear, since he knows exactly what he’s going to do—beat and humiliate Page, potentially being the first to make him submit.
We moved to another interview, this time with Kris Statlander, who was just arriving at the arena. She was asked for her thoughts on her upcoming TBS Championship match at Full Gear. Statlander confidently replied that nothing Moné could do would stop her from becoming champion in a few weeks.
As Statlander walked off, the sound of a car engine was heard. The camera panned over to show Statlander off to the side and Mercedes Moné and Kamille in a car. An irate Moné shouted, “You missed her!” Statlander, furious over this apparent attempt on her life (because what else would you call it?), proceeded to knock Moné senseless using the car hood. Thank you, Kris, for this glorious moment!
Back in the ring, the Patriarchy and Kip Sabian made their entrance. Christian Cage took the microphone and first explained that he had requested security to be present because he wanted a chance to speak when Hook arrived later. Then, he addressed Sabian, saying he was thrilled to welcome him to the Patriarchy.
Cage explained that he had realized recently that Sabian had been trying to get his attention, as he was fatherless and in need of guidance. He played footage of the time Sabian stole his pen to stop him from cashing in his contract and then ran into Pac and Castagnoli backstage. According to Cage, Sabian did that to help him; he’d noticed that the Blackpool Combat Club was around and would have interfered with his title win.
In doing so, Kip Sabian has done more for Cage than any of his other “sons.” Nick Wayne, insulted, remained silent as Cage turned to Sabian and told him he loved him.
Hook then entered the ring, held back by security. He took the microphone and told Cage to hurry up because he’s not a patient guy. Christian Cage launched into an explanation: “You’re wild, Hook, and I need a son like you.” But, he continued, he couldn’t let Hook have conflicting voices in his head, admitting that, yes, he did go after Hook’s father, Taz.

But Cage continued: Taz saw his face, yet he didn’t say anything to Hook. Why? Because Taz has always been a coward, a big fish in a small pond who hid as a commentator. Which path does Hook want to take: that of a commentator or that of a multi-time champion? Cage emphasized that he needs Hook and even went as far as to say he’d prefer if Hook’s father was dead by now.
This family jab hits hard, causing Hook to snap and blow right past security. He rushes into the ring, but with the security slowing him down, the Patriarchy has a chance to escape. No brawl tonight, unfortunately!
Next, we have Don Callis in an interview, praising his protégés Lance Archer and Brian Cage, when a tall guy arrives. He hands Callis an envelope stuffed with cash and a small box containing MJF’s ring. The guy pulls out a phone and plays a message from Max asking that his “friends” handle the “Adam Cole problem.”
Now we’re onto the penultimate match, featuring Penelope Ford—who’s been complaining about her two-year injury—versus Jamie Hayter. Ford’s bad luck continues, as she takes a brutal Lariat from Hayter, who pins her for the three-count. Sorry, Ford!
We then get a video teasing Mina Shirakawa’s return next week—a bright, colorful promo with a hint of gray... Could this mean dear Toni is coming back soon as well?
And finally, we’re at the main event! On one side, we have Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita, and on the other, Ricochet and his mystery partner. Ricochet grabs the mic mid-entrance, telling his opponents it was a bad idea to let him pick his partner. Because he found someone who just had his contract expire with the Don Callis Family and is furious about it!
Music plays, and out comes Powerhouse Hobbs with Ricochet. Everyone’s raging, so they immediately go at it before the bell even rings. During the match, we learn that Takeshita will face Adam Cole next week, who’s watching the match closely. Noted!
Cole should be worried because Takeshita is tough. Ricochet had to hit him three times before he could finally score a victory with a Clothesline. Kyle Fletcher, being a sore loser, didn’t take defeat well and started hitting the winners with a chair.
This led to Mark Davis stepping in, seemingly fed up with Fletcher’s antics. The situation nearly came to blows, with Davis pushing Fletcher into the corner, but then Lance Archer and Brian Cage came in to save the day.
Think it’s over? Not quite! Adam Cole, who had been watching backstage, decided to join in, but Takeshita intercepted him and dragged him back to the locker room. Just when we think it’s all over for Davis, with no hope in sight, something big happens…
WILL FREAKING OSPREAY MAKES HIS RETURN!
Kyle Fletcher looks terrified as Ospreay charges into the ring and goes right after him, beating him down. Hobbs joins in to help Ospreay clear the ring of Cage and Archer, and Kyle eventually manages to escape.
One thing’s clear: you’re in deep trouble, my friend!

That was Laure with the Dynamite recap!
