Hello everyone, this is Laure live from Luz' for the recap of Raw from November 4, 2024 !

We’re now two weeks away from Survivor Series, and there’s still some uncertainty surrounding the upcoming matches, even though WWE has already dropped a few hints. And who’s going to clear things up for us? Liv Morgan, with her friend Raquel Rodriguez, who come to the ring to speak. The champion welcomes everyone and says right off the bat that there’s a good chance Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are after them after what happened on Smackdown, and she knows they didn’t come alone, so neither will they!

Nia Jax's music hits, and the champion appears, accompanied by Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. The trio joins Morgan and Rodriguez in the ring, and Jax starts speaking to them: they neither like nor hate them, in fact, they don’t think about them at all, though she does have some issues to settle with Morgan. But when it comes to Cargill, Belair, and Naomi, she can't stop thinking about them, and...

Enter the women in question, with Bianca Belair simply saying, "Jax, if you’re going to do something, go ahead, but we’re not alone!" Iyo Sky joins them, and the four of them advance into the ring to face off with the villainous faction. Liv Morgan can’t help but point out, "Are you guys stupid or what? We’re five, and you’re four, seriously?" The champion is sure no one will want to ally with them, but right then the production team proves her wrong by playing the music of... You know who, right?

And yes, Rhea Ripley is back with a protective mask after the injury caused by Morgan and Rodriguez at NXT. She storms the ring, stands in front of the champion, and yells into the mic: "WAR GAMES!!!"

To make her point even clearer, she headbutts Morgan and a general brawl breaks out, confirming the scenario I feared last week: we have our two teams of five, the good guys against the bad guys, without much real logic behind it, but hey, let’s just pretend it doesn’t bother us, right?

Next up is a mixed Tag-Team match with Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega representing LWO, and Chad Gable and Ivy Nile representing American Made. The women immediately start fighting each other, brawling on the ringside, while Gable and Mysterio kick off the match. We had a funny moment where Gable tried to hold Vega back when she wanted to tag Mysterio, but he couldn’t stop her and ended up taking the punishment! By the way, Vega and Mysterio make a great duo: for example, while Gable was sitting on the corner, Mysterio throws Vega at him for a Hurricanrana.

Anyway, Mysterio finishes with his final sequence, a 619 and Splash, before covering Gable for the win. LWO leaves victorious, while the Creed Brothers come out to help their buddy Gable get up. He pushes them away and slaps Julius Creed a couple of times, as if to "boost" him...? It seems to work, as Gable gets fired up and starts going at it with his brother, and American Made looks ready for new challenges. Let’s roll with it...

Now let’s head over to the Judgment Day locker room, where Finn Balor finds Liv Morgan totally down because Ripley is now involved in this War Games storyline, and well, she’s complaining (though, cousin, it’s not like you didn’t bring the problems on yourself!). Finn Balor reassures her and offers to take the lead tonight (he was waiting for this!) and Morgan agrees.

Balor then turns to Dominik Mysterio and Carlito, happy to play the little leader, and tells them they’re going to show the War Raiders what they’re capable of. He advises them to target their weak spot: the neck. As Dom and Carlito head out, JD McDonagh approaches Balor to say he’d like to talk to him. Uh-oh, what’s going on now?

Next, we get a video from Miz, who tells us that recent times have been full of emotions. He’s happy with his betrayal of the Wyatt Six and is surprised that they thought they could change Miz—seriously? Dude, you’re way too confident for someone who’s about to get wrecked by Uncle Howdy in the coming weeks...

Karrion Kross continues, saying that the Wyatt Six are far from invincible and that he’s the one holding all the cards. They’ll keep playing the game, and Kross controls the rules. Tick tock!

Still no return to the ring, as we see Ludwig Kaiser quickly joined by Gunther. He asks him why he stopped him last week when he was talking to Damian Priest. Gunther replies that he shouldn’t speak for him. Kaiser insists but Gunther cuts him off: "Don’t speak for me." The champion continues, inviting his colleague to make a name for himself and speak for himself. He says, "Look me in the eyes and tell me what you see, do you see the same Ring General as before?" Kaiser insists nothing has changed, and Gunther concludes that Priest doesn’t affect him and that the matter is closed. Kaiser agrees and leaves.

We stay with Gunther, who spots Damian Priest sitting calmly at a desk from a distance. Gunther drops his jacket and grabs him for a sleeper (but of course, he’s not affected by Priest, right?). However, Priest throws a roundhouse kick, cutting him off immediately. Damian is happy and says, "In the ring, you might be the General, but on the streets, I’m the King." Then, Adam Pearce comes out to ask what’s going on, and Priest advises him to bring some ice for the champion. The more it goes on, the worse things seem for Gunther—this doesn’t look good for Survivor Series!

Next up is a match between Sheamus and Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental title, a hard-hitting encounter between two big bruisers. Toward the end of the match, Bron manages to land his Spear, but smartly, Sheamus rolls outside the ring to avoid the pin. Was it that smart? Maybe not, because it doesn’t stop the champion, who is now preparing for another Spear at ringside. He charges, but is cut off mid-run by a clothesline from Ludwig Kaiser, ending the match by disqualification!

It seems that Gunther’s right-hand man was listening to what the Ring General told him and came to make a big impact. He’ll take out Bron Breakker before turning on Sheamus, who’s slumped against the outside stairs. He stands over him, yelling that he told him he wouldn’t stop until he was down for good. This teases a new triangle for the Intercontinental title, and I’m all for it!

Backstage again, Seth Rollins is approached by The Usos and Sami Zayn. Jey tells him that in the group, they all have issues with Roman Reigns, but they’re putting them aside for War Games to end things with Solo Sikoa. Zayn continues, saying that for WrestleMania, Rollins teamed up with Cody Rhodes, even though they had a past, so why not for Survivor Series?

Do their arguments move the Visionary? Not really, as he openly says he’s ready to stand by Sami, by Jey, by Jimmy, but he will never stand by Reigns. It bothers him to say this because having Bronson Reed in a cage is literally a dream for him, but to him, it’s not worth it. He understands that the three of them think it’s worth it because of family matters, but for Rollins, it’s not worth the risk. He apologizes and wishes them good luck before leaving. So, how many episodes do you think it’ll take for Rollins to change his mind and end up in War Games? The betting is open!

Next, we get a video from Dakota Kai, who reminds us that she’s been on the sidelines these past few weeks. She says that in these situations, you think everything will be better when you return to the spotlight, but at the same time, you fear you won’t have a place anymore... Dakota Kai is determined to show us that she’s a champion and that she’s ready!

We then move on to a Tag-Team match between the War Raiders and Judgment Day (Dominik and Carlito), and something tells me the two guys are going to get destroyed. From the start of the match, Dom gets slapped twice and quickly tags Carlito, realizing what kind of opponents they’re facing! Of course, Judgment Day cheats to regain the upper hand (because otherwise, they’d just get destroyed), but it ends with a victory for the War Raiders, who finish with their double Powerslam.

No surprise with the result, and no surprise when we see Finn Balor and JD McDonagh show up post-match to attack them, trying to settle the score (after all, they’re the tag team champions!).

A Wyatt Sicks video then starts, and we see Bo Dallas telling Miz that he tried to warn him, but he’s condemned himself. He’s sorry for what’s going to happen, but it will be his hands that are covered in blood, and it’ll be his fault. Dallas ends by saying he never wanted any of this. I told you, Miz, you’re in big trouble! This is going to be a massacre…

Next, we get another video, this time from Lyra Valkyria (thank you, WWE, thank you): apparently, you have to burn to be reborn from the ashes, and she always thought of herself as a phoenix, but in reality, she is more than that. She is Lyra Valkyria, she doesn’t burn; she only rises. And if you could rise to the new US title, I’d be so happy!

Last backstage moment with Kofi Kingston, who is with the Alpha Academy. They’re interrupted by Xavier Woods, who says, "Man, we’ve been fighting a lot lately, and then Karrion Kross said the New Day is dead…". Kingston cuts him off, telling him their group isn’t dead, and things start to get messy (again), but Otis calms everyone down.

Well, "calms everyone down" except Woods, who says to Otis: "Why are you butting into my business? You don’t have advice for us! No wonder Gabble left you..." And since Woods is still upset, he challenges Otis and Akira Tozawa next week to relaunch the New Day with a new win. Hmm, something tells me it won’t go as smoothly as that...

Finally, we reach the main event, the second round between Bronson Reed and Seth Rollins. Reed, now with new allies, is joined at ringside by the Bloodline: Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu. The match hasn’t even started yet, and Rollins notices this, realizing it’s going to be intense. But don’t worry, the Usos and Zayn arrive to chase them off, leaving Reed and Rollins to officially begin their confrontation.

Of course, both want to tear each other apart: they’re thrown onto the announcers’ table, crashing into the outside stairs—basically, a brawl that matches their mutual hatred. Toward the end of the match, Rollins is standing on the turnbuckle, ready to launch a Stomp, but notices Solo Sikoa standing on the announcers’ table. At this point, it’s pretty much over for him, because Reed will take advantage of this distraction and capitalize on the opening. It ends with two Sentons followed by his Tsunami, securing the victory for Reed.

Sikoa and Reed celebrate together in the ring, with Rollins lying on the ground at their feet. Maybe he’ll start reconsidering his position now?

It was Laure for the Raw recap!
