Rampage Recap' of 22 November 2024

Hey everyone, it's Laure live from Luz' with the recap of Rampage from November 22 2024 !

We’re kicking off the show tonight with the dream team of Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May, who teamed up to face Nyla Rose and Harley Cameron. Well, if Mina and Mariah were on top in terms of chemistry, let’s just say the same couldn’t be said for Rose and Cameron! While one team put on a show dancing in the ring, the other bickered over ridiculous tag issues. In the end, this could only lead to one outcome: a well-deserved victory for Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa, who can’t wait to celebrate tomorrow at Full Gear.

Next up is the much-anticipated weigh-in between QT Marshall and Big Boom AJ, who will face off at Full Gear during the preshow. QT speaks first, saying that twenty years ago, AJ didn’t have what it takes to be a wrestler—and he still doesn’t today. AJ fires back, saying he’s been waiting twenty years for this match and has another surprise for the audience: the special guest ringing the bell will be The Rizzler!

The two wrestlers proceed to the weigh-in, with AJ tipping the scales at 250 kilos, leading him to suspect the scale is rigged. Big Justice steps in, saying it doesn’t matter, because AJ will win tomorrow. The tension rises as the two face off. AJ throws a punch, but QT dodges and lands a Cutter before leaving the ring laughing. Let’s hope for your sake you’re still laughing tomorrow!

We move on to the match between Juice Robinson and The Butcher, which gets unexpectedly intense for no apparent reason. Maybe The Butcher is jealous of Robinson’s haircut? Who knows. Either way, being fired up won’t stop Robinson from being incredibly resilient. So resilient, in fact, that The Butcher ends up shocked by his toughness! The match concludes with Robinson landing a DDT and pinning The Butcher for the three-count.

Before heading to the main event, we catch up backstage with Thunder Rosa, who is participating in an All Lucha Rampage next week. She’s excited because she’ll get to see some of her colleagues from CMLL. It’s been a while since she’s had a lucha match, so she’s issuing an open challenge. And as soon as she puts it out there, someone accepts! A mysterious luchadora appears to take her up on it...

Just kidding! It’s actually Harley Cameron wearing a Hologram mask and pretending to be a luchadora. Thunder Rosa sees right through the act but doesn’t hold it against her and accepts the match proposal anyway.

Now, onto the main event: the Conglomeration faced off against the Dark Order. John Silver starts mocking Mark Briscoe with some kung fu moves, so Briscoe sets him straight in no time. The Dark Order pulls some sneaky tactics, like Evil Uno jumping into the ring without being tagged to throw punches at the opponents—like, excuse me, what do you think this is?

In the end, though, the Conglomeration is unstoppable. They chain together some impressive moves and finish things off with a Brainbuster from Tomohiro Ishii, who then pins the opponent for the three-count.
