Hey everyone, it’s Laure live from Luz’ with the recap of NXT on November 26, 2024 !

We start the episode with Chase U’s theme music, and everyone is super excited... but it was a prank! It’s Ridge Holland, mischievous and devilish as ever, who makes his way to the ring. He grabs the mic to rub it in the crowd’s face: “I told you…” What a sadist—I love it! He doesn’t say much more, other than that he’ll face Trick Williams at Deadline.

Next, we move on to a qualifying match for the Iron Survivor Challenge: Ethan Page faces Axiom, who is accompanied by his partner Nathan Frazer. We see the tag team division enjoying the match backstage (please, no interruptions!). I love Axiom, and the match was great, but I can’t have nice things! Despite hitting Page with a corner Hurricanrana, Axiom immediately takes a massive Clothesline that seals his fate: Ethan Page qualifies for Deadline!

After the match, Page is interviewed about his win. He says he always finds a way to win and that Deadline will be no different. But suddenly...

“Whoa, whoa, whoa, take it easy, man!”

Nathan Frazer enters the ring to challenge the former NXT champion, arguing that Page hasn’t won anything yet and that the kind of match at Deadline is right up his alley. Page counters, pointing out that he just beat Axiom, the “strength” of their team. Frazer protests, saying, “Axiom isn’t the strength of the team…”

Awkward! Frazer tries to smooth things over, noticing that Axiom at ringside didn’t appreciate that comment. But before the tag champs can sort it out, they’re interrupted by Wes Lee, who adds his own commentary. Then Je’Von Evans appears, reminding everyone there’s still one more spot to qualify for.

Things spiral as OTM arrives to stir up more trouble, and other teams join them on the ramp. Frazer declares that if anyone wants a shot at the tag titles, they’ll get it! He dives from the ring onto the entire tag division, sparking a massive brawl. And that’s how the chaos begins for the night!

Next, in the women’s locker room, Lola Vice talks to Stephanie Vaquer, saying her feud with Jaida Parker will only end when she decides. Once Vaquer leaves, Wren Sinclair approaches to question whether reigniting the feud with Parker is a good idea, especially after Vice got her head smashed in their hardcore match.

Vice fires back, telling Sinclair that her fists will do the talking tonight. She storms off, leaving Sinclair muttering, “What have I gotten myself into?” That’s what you get for giving advice to someone who doesn’t care!

Backstage, we get an episode of Soap Opera Drama: Ashante Adonis and Nikkita Lyons are talking. Lyons says she wanted Adonis’s attention last week, but he insists he has values now (yeah, right!). Lyons scoffs, asking if it’s because of Karmen. “But you messaged me,” she reminds him. Adonis admits it, just as Karmen Petrovic appears, all dramatic: “That was obvious!”

The tension peaks as Lyons acts smug, and Petrovic storms off, telling Adonis to forget her—again. Girl, how many times have you said that? You’ll be back next week.

The drama ends, and Wren Sinclair heads to the ring to face Lola Vice. Despite encouragement from Charlie Dempsey at ringside, Sinclair can’t overcome Vice’s Back Fist, which earns her the win. Vice takes the mic post-match, declaring, “Parker, this isn’t over! We’ll settle it in an Underground Match!” Let’s go—bring the violence!

In another backstage segment, Tony D’Angelo chats with Adriana Rizzo, who asks about the whereabouts of the Family and whether his knee is okay. D’Angelo says he’s fine and that they’ll handle their match without the others. Elsewhere, Shawn Spears and Brooks Jensen discuss how Spears’s manipulation skills helped them get a title shot. Good job, but now it’s time to win!

We then find Tatum Paxley in the locker room playing with her dolls when members of Fatal Influence approach to taunt her, telling her she won’t become North American Champion tonight. Jacy Jayne even breaks one of her dolls before walking off. Paxley leaves too, abandoning the dolls on the floor. Suddenly, a mysterious hand picks one up… Who could it be?!

We move on to the match between Shawn Spears and Tony D’Angelo for the North American Championship. Spears has a single strategy: targeting the champion’s weakened knee with strikes and submission holds. It works well, as D’Angelo struggles to execute his moves, clearly hindered by his injured leg. However, he manages to land a crucial Spinebuster, pinning Spears for the three-count and retaining his title.

After the match, a frustrated Brooks Jensen tries to attack D’Angelo but gets overpowered. D’Angelo even manages to fend off both Spears and Jensen—until Niko, Spears’s ally, shows up to save the day. The Don is overwhelmed by Spears’s faction once again. Still, no title change for you, buddy!

We cut to the parking lot, where absolute chaos has broken out. Every team is brawling, slamming each other into garage doors and smashing bodies against car windshields. It’s pure bedlam!

Next, we see a video of Andre Chase packing up his belongings in his classroom, reminiscing about his time at the university. As he walks out of the hallways, someone calls out to him, but the video cuts off. Who could it be?!

Then we head to the qualifying match between Giulia and Kelani Jordan, and what an incredible showdown! Both competitors are so talented and determined that they both deserve a spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge. However, there can only be one winner: Giulia secures victory with a devastating knee strike followed by a Northern Lights Bomb, putting Jordan down for the count. Giulia moves on to Deadline!

Backstage, Ava gathers the losers of the Iron Survivor Challenge qualifiers to deliver some hopeful news: next week, there will be a Last Chance Fatal 4-Way match to determine one more qualifier for Deadline. All is not lost for Jordan!

Ava then meets with the tag team champions, informing them that a battle royal next week will determine their challengers for Deadline. Axiom seems taken aback, asking, “You’re asking us to do two matches?” Frazer, however, seems unfazed, while Axiom thinks it’s too much. Regardless, the plan is set. As Ava tries to enter her office, Eddy Thorpe approaches, insisting on talking to her—again. She brushes him off, but when he grabs her arm to stop her, Ava snaps, shouting, “Don’t touch me!” In the commotion, she accidentally gets hit by the door.

Things take a turn for the worse for Eddy when Shawn Michaels arrives and sees what happened. Michaels grabs him, pins him against the wall, and applies some serious pressure. For an older guy, I have to admit—he’s still pretty intimidating!

Trick Williams, our NXT Champion, steps into the ring to address the crowd and talk about Ridge Holland and last week’s events. He says it’s been chaos at NXT lately, especially with what seemed like the end of Chase U last week. Amid all that, he saw Ridge Holland smiling, proud of the destruction he caused. That’s what sets them apart, Williams says.

He continues, saying that he loves NXT and what they’re building here—people like Bron Breakker, Ilja Dragunov, Johnny Gargano, and even Carmelo Hayes. He loved what Chase U represented, but Ridge Holland doesn’t see any of that. Williams vows not to let Holland become champion because if Ridge takes the NXT Championship, all those things will die—and he can’t allow that.

Ridge Holland’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ramp, cutting off the champion. “You’re right,” Holland says. “All of it will die—and I don’t give a damn.” But before he can continue, the big screen lights up, revealing Eric Bischoff (because why not?). Bischoff says it’s clear that things are out of control at NXT, and he plans to show up next week to see it for himself. If Holland wants the title and Williams wants to stay champion, then we’ll find out at Deadline just how far they’re willing to go to destroy each other!

Backstage, we catch up with Wren Sinclair and Charlie Dempsey, joined by their two friends who were involved in the earlier tag team brawl. Dempsey reminds Sinclair that next week she has one more chance to qualify for Deadline, where she could face Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Sol Ruca, and Zaria. Sinclair doesn’t seem too thrilled about this added pressure!

It’s time for the night’s main event: Fallon Henley defends her championship against Tatum Paxley. Predictably, Henley brings her entire crew, and as always, they make sure to interfere whenever possible. Despite Paxley’s best efforts—including fending off Jayne, who tries to interfere—she’s ultimately overwhelmed. Henley counters Paxley’s next move with a Famasser, covering her for the three-count to retain her title.

After the match, all members of Fatal Influence gang up on Paxley. But wait—the music of Gigi Dolin blares through the arena! Could she really be back?

Fatal Influence looks toward the ramp but sees no one. That’s because Dolin sneaks up from behind, ambushing them! With Paxley’s help, Dolin takes out all of Fatal Influence, leaving them in disarray.

This surprise return injects a fresh spark into NXT, and it looks like Gigi Dolin will have her hands full dealing with Henley’s faction!

It was Laure with the recap of NXT!
