Hey everyone, it's Laure here live from Luz’ with the recap of Impact from November 14, 2024 !

Mike Santana opened the show with his match against KC Navarro, who was accompanied by his buddy AJ Francis. Francis got into a ringside scuffle with Santana during the match, allowing Navarro to regain some momentum with a Suicide Dive. But let’s be real, Santana isn’t one to back down easily. Sure, Navarro got a momentary upper hand, but it didn’t last long—believe me!

Santana took control, tossing Navarro overhead before landing a Powerbomb and going for a pin. Two counts? No problem! Santana set up and executed his Spin The Block, which sealed the victory over Navarro. Meanwhile, AJ Francis was fuming as Santana celebrated—and honestly, it’s delightful to watch!

Backstage, the Nemeth brothers were interviewed. Both had matches lined up, starting with Nic, who expressed disappointment at not defending his title against Bryan Myers because Santino wasn’t on board. Regardless, Nic promised to prove his worth in the ring, with or without the title on the line. He also vowed to retain his championship at Turning Point against Eddie Edwards, no matter what.

Ryan chimed in, assuring he’d back his brother while focusing on his own feud with Joe Hendry, who mocked him last week with a silly song. (Admit it, Ryan—you kinda asked for it.)

Next up, the Hardy Brothers and Ace Austin took their turn on the mic but were interrupted by Trent Seven, who’s clearly out to stir up trouble since turning on his friend. Chaos broke out, dragging in Jake Something and Hammerstone. It took Santino Marella himself to step in and separate the brawling crew—way more efficiently than the usual horde of officials, by the way.

In tag-team action, The Rascalz faced Alan Angels and Jake Crist. The heels resorted to dirty tactics with a low blow. Funny thing about those: sometimes it’s a game-ender, even for the toughest champs; other times, wrestlers shake it off in seconds. Trey Miguel was apparently made of steel tonight, as he bounced back and secured the win for The Rascalz.

We then saw a cheeky promo from the tag champs Spitfire, mocking Ash by Elegance and her crew, promising to show them that life in plastic isn’t all that fantastic.

The night rolled on with a Trios match featuring Josh Alexander teaming up with his Northern Armory allies to take on the freshly minted trio of Eric Young, Jonathan Gresham, and Steve Maclin. Did Maclin manage to find his Zen this week to cool his anger toward Alexander? Absolutely not!

Maclin clearly tries to go after Alexander at the start of the match, effortlessly flooring his two lackeys. However, Alexander refuses to tag in, only entering the ring once his allies have helped him regain control over Maclin by bending the rules. That, my friends, is the behavior of a man who's afraid!

Don’t worry, though—Alexander still gets his share of punishment from Young. Let’s just say little Josh is lucky to have his Northern Armory pals, who saved his skin more than once, albeit not always in the cleanest way.

Toward the end, Young and Maclin team up for a classic double move, but Maclin gets distracted, diving on Alexander instead to pummel him. This throws off Young, who wanted to finish the move. A miscommunication ensues: "Let me do it, dude!" and so on. A series of errors leaves their team vulnerable, allowing Alexander to hit Maclin with a C4 Spike for the pin. The Northern Armory celebrates, while Young and Maclin are left bickering. A team meeting is definitely in order!

Backstage, Frankie Kazarian, sporting his ridiculous haircut, claims it’s what really matters. He brags about defeating Rhino... and speak of the devil, Rhino shows up. Rhino makes it clear he doesn’t need a trophy to prove he can beat Kazarian. Please, Rhino—smash him, I beg you!

Still backstage, Maclin corners Santino Marella, declaring his feud with Alexander isn’t over (shocking, right?). Later, Maclin reunites with Gresham and Young, demanding answers. Young points the blame at Maclin, insisting he needs to trust his teammates. Seriously, Maclin—stop playing solo!

The match between Ryan Nemeth and Joe Hendry kicks off with Hendry taking the mic. He teases Ryan, acknowledging the drama over last week’s song. Hendry claims he’s corrected his mistake with a new video and plays it… but surprise! It’s the same one mocking Ryan as "just Nic Nemeth’s brother." The crowd loves it, and Hendry replays it, but Nemeth snaps and attacks, starting the match.

Despite Nemeth’s frustration, it isn’t enough to best Hendry. The match ends quickly with Hendry landing a Standing Ovation for the pin. Another missed opportunity for Ryan—better luck next time!

Another short, dominant victory comes courtesy of Rosemary, who crushes Jada Stone, leaving nightmares and destruction in her wake.

We’re then shown footage from earlier: a System celebration spotlighting their dominance and Moose’s new X-Division title. They’ve even got matching rings to symbolize their "friendship forever." Isn’t that sweet?

Back in the present, Alisha Edwards grabs a mic and screeches "Do you want to know something?" about six times. The crowd clearly doesn’t, but she shares anyway, boasting about the System’s strength and their "super cute rings." She declares that Nic Nemeth will learn his lesson against Myers and promises her husband will bring home the championship at Turning Point* She caps it off by dismissing Masha Slamovich’s win last week as pure luck.

At this point, the TNA champion, Masha Slamovich, comes out and snatches the mic from Alisha’s hands. "A stroke of luck?" she repeats. "Why don’t you prove it to me next week in a No Disqualification match for the title?" (Let’s go, chaos incoming!)

Tasha Steelz joins them, but we’re not sure why—because Jordynne Grace also arrives to speak: "Ladies, while I can’t wait to see Alisha get destroyed next week, don’t forget I have a rematch for the title, okay?" Grace clarifies that no matter who wins next week (though she has an idea, as do we), she’ll take her rematch at Turning Point to become a four-time TNA champion.

Time for the main event! Backstage, Nic Nemeth is with his brother, who’s in bad shape with a medic, whining about how Joe Hendry broke him in half (play dumb games, win dumb prizes). Santino Marella sends Nic off, saying, "You’ve got a match; I’ll handle him." As Nic heads toward the entrance ramp, he’s stopped by Frankie Kazarian, who—let’s face it—is getting on everyone’s nerves. Nemeth ignores him entirely.

The match begins with Nic Nemeth making his entrance, followed by Bryan Myers, who’s predictably accompanied by Eddie and Alisha Edwards. Just as the bell is about to ring, Joe Hendry’s music hits, and the Scotsman walks down to the commentary table to watch the match.

The match itself delivers exactly what you’d expect: interference galore from the Edwards duo. Eddie starts small, but when caught, the referee ejects him. Alisha, losing patience, escalates things by grabbing a kendo stick and attacking Nemeth outright—crossing the line.

Hendry, who’s been commentating, finally intervenes. He lifts Alisha onto his shoulder and carries her backstage. With the distraction gone, Nemeth capitalizes with a Superkick followed by the Danger Zone, pinning Myers for the win.

There’s no time to celebrate, as Eddie Edwards returns to attack Nemeth with Myers. Hendry comes back wielding the kendo stick, chasing them off. A tense face-off follows between Hendry and Nemeth. The champ’s trust in Hendry clearly hasn’t been restored—likely not helped by Hendry humiliating his brother earlier in the night—but it’s clear their story isn’t over.

Is Joe Hendry back in the title hunt?

It was Laure for...

HEY WAIT! Guys, we’ve got a post-credits scene! Are we in a Marvel movie now or what? The scene is pretty short: Steve Maclin is driving his car through the night, heading toward some mysterious destination. Then—bam—black screen with the words "To Be Continued…" flashing up.

I have no idea what Steve’s plotting, but please, buddy—make it wild!

It was Laure for the Impact recap!
